Valued or not, it depends on the way it is perceived.
The way we see a thing determinnes the value we place on it. There is a popular saying, 'we never truly know the value of a thing until we lose it'.
Value is variant. The value 1$ gets defers from person to person. There are persons whose lives hangs solely on that 1$ note that might be of less value to another man.
Another determinant of a things value could be the access to it. Most times what people get with little or no pain is less value. It's almost same as a child won't value the and care of parents. You know why? Because he didn't ask for it. Not until they are no longer in the picture, he will value them.
Value can also be determined by need. We called things or people to the extent they meet our needs, whether positive or negative. If something doesn't meet your needs, you tend to value them less. Just like having an old and new phone. The old phone definitely is going to be mishandled. Because to me the old one has expired.
Our values in life will be measured based upon how much we can meet the needs of others. How much problems have you solved? No body values liabilities only assets. What's your value?
Your value is measured per solution you make available. If you are not solving problem, the get to work and start being an addition to yourself, family, friends and your community.
I choose to be a plus and not a minus.

It's Honour, I'm ever ready!
A human being has no value. A human being is priceless.
