শোকাবহ ১৫ ই আগস্ট,, পুরো বাঙালির জন্য একটা কলঙ্কিত মুহূর্ত। আমাদের স্বাধীনতার কর্ণধার ছিলেন বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান।তার নেতৃত্ব ছারা আমাদের হয়তোবা স্বাধীনতার স্বাদটা গ্রহণ করা সম্ভব হতনা। দীর্ঘ নয়মাস রক্তক্ষয়ী যুদ্ধের পর,ত্রিশ লক্ষ প্রাণের বিনিময়ে পেয়েছিলাম আমাদের প্রিয় স্বাধীন দেশ,বাংলাদেশ। হাজারো মা-বোনের সম্মান ত্যাগের বিনিময়ে অর্জন করেছি আমরা এ স্বাধীনতা।বিদেশী শত্রু এমনকি দেশীয় (রাজাকার) শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধেও রুখে দাঁড়াতে হয়েছে দামাল ছেলেদের স্বাধীনতা অর্জন করার জন্য। ১৯৭১ সালে এতকিছুর পরিবর্তে অর্জন করেছিলাম আমরা স্বাধীনতা আর আমাদের নেতা ছিলেন বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান। বাংলাদেশের প্রথম রাষ্ট্রপতি ছিলেন তিনি। পুরো বাঙালির জীবনে অন্ধকার নেমে এলো ১৯৭৫ সালের ১৫ ই আগস্ট।সবাই বলে অমাবস্যার অন্ধকার না কি সবচাইতে বেশি, তবে বাঙালিদের জীবনে সবচাইতে অন্ধকার রাতটা ছিল এই ১৫ ই আগস্ট। একটা পরিবারের সবাইকে হত্যা করল তারা এই দিনে।আমি যতবার হত্যাকান্ডের এই ঘটনাটা পড়ি ততবার চোখের কোণে পানি জমে।ছোট্ট একটা বাচ্চা শেখ রাসেলকেও তারা ছেরে দেয়নি এতটা নিষ্ঠুর ছিল।শয়ণ কক্ষে গিয়ে হত্যা করেছে বঙ্গমাতা শেখ ফজিলাতুন্নেছা মুজিবকে।পরিবারের কাউকে ছেরে দেয়নি তারা।বঙ্গবন্ধুর নিথর দেহ পরে রইল।শুধু আমাদের বর্তমান প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা এবং তার বোন শেখ রেহানা বিদেশে থাকার কারণে প্রাণে বেঁচে গেলো। পুরো আগস্ট মাস শোকাবহ আমাদের পুরো বাঙালি জাতীর জন্য।কলঙ্কিত একটা দিন ছিল। ছবিঃসংগৃহীত Sad 15th August, A stigmatized moment for all Bengalis. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the leader of our independence. Without his leadership we might not have been able to enjoy the taste of independence. After a long nine-month bloody war, we got our beloved independent country, Bangladesh, in sacrifice for three million lives. We have achieved this freedom in return for sacrificing the honor of thousands of mothers and sisters. Instead of so many things, we achieved independence in 1971 and our leader was Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He was the first President of Bangladesh. Darkness descended on the life of the whole Bengali on 15th August, 1975. Everyone says that the darkness of the new moon is the worst, But the 15th of August was the darkest night in the life of Bengalis. They killed everyone in a family on this day. Every time I read about this murder, tears come to my eyes. They did not leave even a small child Sheikh Russell. They were so cruel. They went to the bedroom and killed Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib. The frozen body was left behind. Only our current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana survived because they were abroad. The whole month of August was a day of mourning for our entire Bengali nation. Survived.
