Transportation Lesson

Transportation is the means of moving and people from one location to another. In marketing, it involved the movement of goods from the place of production to the place of consumption.

Goods can be moved from the factories to the wholesalers and to the retailers where the customers comes to buy them. It is also possible to move goods from retailers to the consumers, or from the wholesalers to the consumer and in some cases from the producer direct to the consumers.

Mode of transportation:

1. Water

2. Rail

3. Road

4. Pipe- line and

5. Air
