fter the event in the day at the cafe, we left work earlier that day after closing and I managed to go back home to take a shower first before going out for dinner with some friends. We went to a nearby mamak shop for dinner where they serve the usual Nasi Kandar which is rice with a selection of curries to choose from. They also have some hot fried food which they cook to order such as a variety of fried noodles and fried rice dishes. I ordered a fried noodle dish called 'Maggi Goreng' which is friend instant ramen together with some vegetables. I ordered a fried chicken for mine which I had them cook together with my noodles. I've been to this place before and the noodles turned out so different from the last time I had it. I was wondering about this and got the reason why it was so different when I was paying. Apparently its a different dish entirely. It was a Thai Maggi Goreng instead of a usual one which I'm not sure why they gave me this dish instead since I didn't order it. Anyway, it was a delicious meal and even better than the usual one I normally get. It was slightly sweeter and had a nice flavor to it compared to the regular Maggi Goreng. The chicken was also delicious and added a nice extra flavor to the whole fried noodles dish. Yums! ~~ #food #foodie
