I cooked lunch the other day for the staff that turned out super amazing. I made 2 dishes that day, a meat stew and a vegetable stir fry. I made a dish similar to a Filipino adobo stew with pork shoulder. I marinated the pork shoulder with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and dark soy sauce. Mix them all together and let them marinade for at least 15 minutes. I then prepped the ginger and saute them with some oil in a pan until they turn fragrant. Next, the pork shoulder goes in and then cover to cook for about 5 minutes. I then add in water and then let the stew simmer for an hour. I boiled some hard boiled eggs on the side and peeled them. After peeling them, I added them into the stew to cook for the final 10 minutes together with the pork stew. For the vegetable dish, we had lots of cabbage left so I shredded them and cooked them with carrots that I simply sliced. I cooked them with some roasted peppers together with its oil and seasoned everything with salt. The dish turned out amazing with sweetness from the peppers and cabbage pairing really well. We ate these 2 dishes with rice and it was an amazing and hearty lunch. Super delicious! #food #foodie
