Went for an overdue valentine's day date with my wife after work to a Vietnamese restaurant that we both enjoy. Its nearby where I work and only walking distance so we headed there after I had finished work. The place is called An Viet which I recently tried and my wife tried the food some years back. It was quite empty when we arrived compared to the last time I was there which was jammed packed. I ordered their Bun Cha which is vermicelli noodles that you pour the fish sauce and pork stock on the noodles. It was super savory and full of umami flavors. Extremely delicious and full of flavor. My wife ordered their beef Pho. The beef was tender and succulent and the broth clean and refreshing yet very flavorful at the same time. Not a heavy dish but very flavorful. We also ordered their crispy pancake to share. It was an omelette like dish with rice paper on the outside that was fried and super crispy. It had a pork filling inside that was flavorful and delicious. A wonderful meal spent with my closest person in the world. Definitely a place to come again with yummy food. #food #foodie
