A few Sundays ago after church, I went for lunch with friends and family at a Texas fried chicken outlet. Its the chain from US called Church's but in Malaysia, being an Islamic country, they changed the name to Texas. Its been growing super fast here in Malaysia and its overtaking the Mane decades of dominance of KFC. I do love the flavors of KFC fried chicken but the size of the chicken has been shrinking to the point its not very worth it going for KFC. Texas on the other hand are serving decent sized chicken and the chicken are always moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. Plus they also have the honey biscuits which is unique to their brand. I ordered a new item on their menu called Texadilla. Its a casadilla with fried chicken tenders and some spicy cheese sauce. This item is some what trying to promote to kids but the cheese sauce was so spicy I doubt any child would be able to eat this. The size though is that of a kids portion as they are using half a flour tortilla wrap to make this. I wasn't full by the end of the meal so I ordered an ala-carte of 2 pieces of fried chicken which was really yummy. We also got some fries and waffle fries as our sides which my kids really love. #food #foodie
