This mesh bag is inspired by makopa. A juicy and crunchy fruit that can be found here in the Philippines. I am always inspired to crochet by finding inspiration and a purpose of my art pieces. Each of my work is a product of perseverance and dedication to do better in each step. I am truly humbled when my works are in good hands and is kept in a good place. Bringing convenience and joy to each of those persons, by sharing a piece of my heart to them. This piece is truly memorable, I crafted it without a guide. Just my pure imagination, I am overpowered with uncertainty. But, my burning desire to take an idea to a form is what drives me to continue. This week Thursday we got to go to the hall to be vaccinated. And, my Mother use this mesh bag. Someone noticed it and is appreciated, thus my Mother tells her that I crafted it. I saw in her eyes a glimmer and sparks from the joy of having this bag. In this way I truly felt a heartwarming feeling. This feeling will keep me in the right track to be more motivated and do much better. I hope that I can inspire others also. By sharing my art and craft.

I haven’t seen a makopa fruit in such a long time! We crafters are really happy when someone we care about, especially our parents, are proud of our work. It’s also really flattering if someone else admires them. Congratulations on getting vaccinated and making your mom proud, sis!
