Yesterday we go to shopping and I proposed to my mother to find some yarns. While shopping she spotted this abaca strings, then she told me that back then their family uses those to scrub plates. I made dish scrubber out of this abaca fiber string. It was quite challenging at first because it doesn't glide in the hook like the yarns. And my hands hurts a bit from making this scrubber. But so far I guess I pass the challenge. It does look right, I patterned it out from granny squares. Later I am going to test it out.
