A tooth that should not be And there we have it. A (small I hope) problem with growing teeth. Lili (5) noticed something hard sticking out of her gum. At first we thought something punctured her gum and got stuck somehow, but upon closer inspection it looks like ... a small tooth. She already has permanent teeth there, so this was a #mistery. My dear N called the dentist and she wanted some pictures so we sent them. As she called back she confirmed the suspicion. It is a tooth that should not be. Sometimes an additional tooth can grow, it usually happens on the upper side, but it looks like she got 'lucky' with an even rarer case. An appointment it is and now all we can do is wait.
