The bathing day in the Adriatic went fast! It all started with the parking situation, as it was impossible to find a parking space. As one car reared out two were already there and arguing about the parking space even before it was actually free. So i drove out of and tried the last section, but soon discovered half the road was blocked, some construction sign, ... But I was just not having that. There is a hotel there and the guests had to pass here, so ... As I cruised along the road I saw a mini-miracle. An empty parking! I drive in, a sigh of relief followed, then I headed straight towards the parking machine. Guess what?! It wasn't working. I didn't want to pay a fee for not paying the parking ticket, so I walked all around and found that the machine I was at earlier is the only one, not YET working, so parking is free. We set the shade tent in the middle of the grass, I opened a beer, lit a cigarette and declared victory. Lili was playing bear feet on the grass, running around, until she had the misfortune to step on a bee. The first of her life. The painfull experience was quickly forgotten as my, pardon me, our Lili is a superhero. We had a picnic, well two, we bathed all day long, Lili had ice cream, and as I started driving towards our home, I heard snoring from the back seat. My dear 5 year old Lili fell asleep before we reached the first crossroad. Success.
