BTC City Today I visited BTC City. It's a very large commercial complex and most stores tahr #crypto, also #BCH as payment. My plan used to be to buy BCH and go spend it, but with the current developments my 'investment' would actually loose in value before I could use it, let alone the fees. So I payed with EUR. I bought many presents, Grandpa Frost will be generous this year it seems. These are fees for the merchant I think. You as a customer do not pay a fee. At least I haven't paid one here.
I did not check exactly, I only know it was 1.60€ (coffee, what else?!) and the transaction was worth 1.62€ according to the wallet. That's all.
Yes, I have checked. There was probably a small fee. With the small amount, I didn't notice it at all. I bought a beer, then there were a few cents more, but it's vanishingly small. It doesn't matter. The price fluctuations are much bigger every day.
I agree, I was just honest and tried to take everything into account. So by paying with crypto, you are charged something you wouldn'tbbe if you paid with FIAT. Where did you pay by crypto?

1. I could not afford it. 2. I would have no use for it. My work is 16 minutes away. I have a family and two small dogs, so a BMW of such size, lol. 3. If I could afford such a car I'd buy a small appartment instead. A car is a vehicle. I don't care about prestige.

No. I'd still try to have more time off and buy more cheap plane tickets and explore the world. I don't see a point in owning a car if I onlybuse it to go to work (16 min each way) and occasionally on daily excursions with my family and then perhaps yearly on a road trip. I don't see a point in owning a BMW, AUDI, MBenz or some expensive monster of a car. Truly. If you gift me a BMW whatever series i promise I'd sell it even if I had millions of dollars. Or gift it to my sis or someone. I don't need it.

I don't beleve we're arguing. Sorry if it came across that way. I am not saying I would not want to be wealthier. That would be fing great. It's not that much about what I could afford, it's more about what I could afford not to do. I would definitely move to a bigger and more comfortable place as my family is growing, I'd prefer a house over a flat. Not too big, room per person, guest room, open space kitchen, living room. A computer/robotics room for me, art studio for my dear N. I would travel. The world. We used to before covid and we will again, it would be easy itlf I were wealthy. I could go on ... but a car is waaaay down the list. Really. Sorry if I dissapointed or offended you in any way. A car is really not important to me.
