What a dreadfull day/night! My dear N cought something, some virus. She got extremely sick, throwing up constantly. During the night her mom got the same. The flat is a mess, just managed to get Lili to the kindergarten, now my job is starting. Crysis meeting to start with. OMG, and btw, I'm wasted and don't feel the best. We're preparing for our trip of #Italy, well a part of it, at least. We'll start south of Firenze this time. We definitely want to spend some days in Rome and Napoli, some sea and an aquarium. Almost there! Today is my final day at work before I start my vacations. Living in Ljubljana, it's practically the center of Europe, easy access to many of the old continent's capitals and this year we decided for southern Italy. Today I put the newly bought roof rack on our car and bought a used trunk. It's all on the car and we're almost ready to roll! Plan for the first day looks something like that, but with two kids aboard, it might take a bit more time. 🤭🖖❤️…

All packed and ready to go! The car is fully packed and since we have a roof rack and a trunk for the first time, the passanger part of the car is completely empty and we still have room in the trunk, even though we have a full size trolley packed. Wow, I never thought that was so cool. I can even put the 12V cooler into the trunk and turn it on while we drive so we have cool drinks, fresh veggies and all sorts of things. Crazy! Sorr, no picture this rime as I'm off to bed…

On our way to Rome we stopped in Tarquinia We just had to pay a visit the famous City in Italy, what was once a part od Etruscan culture that later greatly influenced the Roman empire. We visited tombs from 7th century B.C. and even saw some urns dating to the early iron age. We visited a museum of found artefacts, sacofagi, statues, tools, weapons, jewelery, ..., even playing dice. You name it! Wow, we were all very impressed, but just had to push on. #Rome awaited!…
