The Temptation of Adam and Eve

God had created man male and female and they are living in God's garden. God had intended for them not to die but to love one another, marry and have children for God loved man.

The story could have been told that man lived with God happily ever after, but this was not so. Today, we will enter into the most devastating and dismaying events that come to man for which up to now we all suffer the consequences.

After God created the angels, heaven and earth, He created man in His image, male and female. Satan had already fallen when God created man. The first human beings were Adam and Eve, God placed them in the Garden of Eden and made man ruler over the world and over all creatures. And God has this command for man:

Genesis 2:16-17 [16]But the lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— [17]except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”

Also remember that Satan rebelled against God for he wanted to be like God and rule God's creation. What Satan coveted, God gave to man. God created man in his Likeness and mad man ruler of the world.

The Bible also says that God prepared for Satan and his angels a place of torment called hell where God will punish them later. How did Satan feel about this? What will he do to man?
