Abram and Lot Separated

When Abram returned to Canaan, Lot was with him and he also had flocks and herds...and quarreling arose between their herdsmen. Genesis 13:8-9 [8]Finally Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not allow this conflict to come between us or our herdsmen. After all, we are close relatives! [9]The whole countryside is open to you. Take your choice of any section of the land you want, and we will separate. If you want the land to the left, then I’ll take the land on the right. If you prefer the land on the right, then I’ll go to the left.” Who stirred Abram's people to quarrel that led Abram to negotiate with Lot for the land? If Lot chose to stay in Canaan, Abram is in danger of going out of Canaan again. Remember, it is in Canaan that God will establish His nation through Abram. Clearly, Satan was behind all of this. Genesis 13:10-11 [10]Lot took a long look at the fertile plains of the Jordan Valley in the direction of Zoar. The whole area was well watered everywhere, like the garden of the lord or the beautiful land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) [11]Lot chose for himself the whole Jordan Valley to the east of them. He went there with his flocks and servants and parted company with his uncle Abram. By God's grace, Lot chose to go out of Canaan, so Abram stayed. Remember that God has a promise to fulfill for Abram in this land. Satan's second attempt to drive Abram out of Canaan failed. What will Satan do to Abram now? What will happen to Lot that he is out from the land where God wants them to live? After Lot had parted from him, the Lord said to Abram: Genesis 13:14-18 [14]After Lot had gone, the lord said to Abram, “Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. [15]I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession. [16]And I will give you so many descendants that, like the dust of the earth, they cannot be counted! [17]Go and walk through the land in every direction, for I am giving it to you.” [18]So Abram moved his camp to Hebron and settled near the oak grove belonging to Mamre. There he built another altar to the Lord. Abram stayed in Canaan and God encouraged Abram in his faith by confirming His promise to make Abram a nation in the land. God is really going to fulfill His promises to Abram. God Blessed ABRAM because he obeyed God. It seems Satan will have a hard time deceiving Abram because Abram does not side with him but with God. Now, how is Satan going to prevent God's promises from being fulfilled through Abram? How Satan drive out Abram from Canaan so his desdecendants will not inherit the land and become God's nation? What will happen to Lot now who is away from Canaan? Any thought? Let's have a coffee Hari Enjoy reading.....Blessings
