Session II

Spiritual Growth The Minister may give opportunity for any questions or responses concerning matters discussed during the first session. He may then review their Scripture study on the nature and purpose of the home. During this interview, he should determine if each has understood the Biblical standards for marriage and has developed the attitude that marriage is to be permanent. If both are professing Christians, the Minister should pursue with them their plans concerning church membership and future service. He may explain that the home will only be as strong as its spiritual foundations, and the spiritual foundations are determined by personal dedication. Problems arise in family and community relationships when sinful attitudes dominate behavior. The Minister should review with the couple the source of sinful attitudes and what to do about them. He may then emphasize the importance of demonstrating Christian attitudes in the home Relationships. The Minister may suggest devotional books or videos, Scripture references which promise God answers prayer, and some other material which will help the individuals to grow as Christians Any thought?
