The consequences of man's sin

We know that man has eaten the forbidden fruit and sinned against God. God cursed the serpent, and punished man and judged Satan that a "seed of the woman" will be born to crush Satan even though Satan will strike the promised Savior. Then God clothed man showing that he is not willing that a man should perish. Didn't God say that man will die the day when they eat the forbidden fruit? Didn't Satan say that they will not die, but instead they will become like God? Did man die after they ate the forbidden fruit? Adam and Eve did not drop dead! If they did then we would not exist. But if Adam and Eve did not die the day they ate the forbidden fruit, did God lie when He had said Adam and Eve will die on that day? No! God is not a liar because God cannot lie. Man died the day they ate the forbidden fruit, but they did not drop dead and cease to exist. Dying does not mean ceasing to exist. When man dies, they do not cease to exist....but something very crucial happens. Many just do not understand what God meant about death. I will it more on the next article.
