I was always asked by my classmates why I don't wear hijab. I will always answer with an awkward smile. The real reason why is people treat us differently when they know I am a muslim. They make jokes that muslim are so poor that they sell screen protector, even jokes that "I will be friends with her so I can get a discount to their phone shop" it hurts me when they make jokes, but all I know is, I should be proud of them because they get money in a HALAL way. There was also one time when my lola was sick and confined at the hospital. Some workers and patients look us with scared face/ disgusted faces. idk why they stereotype muslim as terrorist/ war maker. PLEASE LOVE/ RESPECT ONE ANOTHER EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE DIFFERENT BELIEF. :)
