There's this word in maranao which is "koris". It means your faith or your destiny. Some muslim parents most likel fixed their daughters marriage. I might be fixed marriage, I don't know. They tend to choose the groom for their daughter which they believed that eventually they'll fall in love with each other. Now, going back to koris. When they'll convince you to agree to marriage they'll tell you it's your faith/ destiny. But, Is it really your chosen destiny? Or someone's controlling it. You make your own destiny right? If you are for example asked to be fixed with someone older than you around 10 years older than you. Would you agree to your 'koris' or would you make your own destiny? #RandomThoughts

There is nothing to agree to. It is your choice to make. Either way, korass. No offence intended, only disrespect for an <insert a bad word here> tradition imposed for very selfish reasons. ❤️🖖💪
