DUN WARS THE SERIES: Beyond Human and the Princess of the telepath The first book talked about finding a cure for the deadly disease that recently struck Planet Dun, which resulted in a large number of casualties. The Governor, Jason Sanda, disapproved of the council's plans about getting help from the humans on planet Earth considering the risk and danger it may bring. On the other hand, Keith Sanda, his older brother, got vengeful and decided to continue his plan asking the Earth government for help that also ended up betraying Jason and dethroning him from the position. Keith became the new governor. If anyone attempts to turn against him would be executed. Jason's men, who are loyal to him, got executed while his wife, Maya, was imprisoned and their daughter, Grace, was sent to Earth together with other nineteen Dunnians. However, a telepath named Michael Davis, who also happened to be one of Jason's loyal men, successfully escaped and fled to a safe place. Twenty years had passed since the first twenty batches of Dunnians were sent to Earth in exchange for a vaccine. However, as days and weeks passed, the disease was getting worse, and Keith Sanda's patience was at its breaking point. Doubting the humans, he had a suspicion that the Earth government was deceiving them and was preparing for a bigger war against the Dun Government. If the tension between these two planets gets severe, it would only worsen the crisis the Dunnians are facing and might lead to extinction. Each of the characters in this story has distinct identities that are perceived in today's age, and if I were to choose which character that best fits my personality it would be the former Governor, Jason Sanda. His warm, soft heart belongs with his people and his selfless disposition ensures their safety first more than anything else. The best part of the story is when they found out that there is hope. Despite the arising conflicts, they were determined to prepare and motivate each other to combat the situation. I also admire the writer's imagination because of the intensity and creativity level of each chapter that I found reading for only less than two hours. For me, this book is highly commended to anyone specifically those who love Science-fiction stories in which aliens, supernatural powers, and advanced technologies are key points of the story. But, I also agree that this kind of story will catch the attention of anyone who just loves to read. Lastly, I look forward to the next scenes in book two.
