September 3, 2020

It's been a while since I published something, but I still read and comment to some articles. Life's not on my side lately and it feels like it is testing my patience. Haha. Anyway, what I will share here are some of the photos that I took when I had a little walk earlier this afternoon.

Again, these are all nature photographs. Above are pictures of Acacia trees. Acacia is a common tree here in our area. There are some acacia trees here that's over a century old. Views like this really calms my mind and I loved the fresh air. This place is just a few meters away from our house and I really feel blessed to be able to enjoy views likes these.

The trail. It was fun walking here. Just need to be careful because there might be some snakes around. This trail leads to a creek nearby.

Above photo is a different path that leads to a tree with something-I-cannot-search-the-name.

Here is a closer look. This looks beautiful but creepy at the same time. Creepy because trees with these are believed to be home of engkanto, kapre, and other mythical creatures. Real or not, I'm afraid of those imaginary creatures. Haha. If you happen to know the name of this vine, please feel free to share it in the comment section. And this is where my afternoon walk ended.

The next photos was from yesterday but I'll add them here because these also shows the beauty of nature.

The Narra Tree Cave. This is a part of a road that leads to some of the remote barangays where cellphone signals are weak. We stopped here yesterday and took a rest and enjoyed the view. There are some wooden benches here too.

Above is a place similar to Narra Tree Cave. But here, the trees that covered the road are mango trees. We also passed by here yesterday.

And lastly, here's a photo that will contradict my article's tittle. Haha. But I believe this deserves some attention too.

These flowers are Vietnam roses in full bloom. I took this photo and got also got some stems to plant. I added it in my growing family of plants. I will share them here next time. But for now, I'll end this post here because it's already 7pm and it's time for dinner! \^o^/

Thank you for dropping by and stay safe. 💕

How I wish I could also go to a place like this. The place looks refreshing and you did a great job in taking those shots with a good angle, especially the first and second photo. Where is this located by the way?

That's actually the flowers that you call carnations 😅 The portulaca with 2 layers of petals are also called Vietnam Rose while those with single layer of petals are Moss Rose.

There is so much greenery where you are at! That is amazing. I love the first photo and all the photos with the road in the middle, enveloped by trees. There is something about a perspective angle :) The bed of Vietnam roses are really cute. They don't look that big, are they?

Thanks for appreciating and for the upvote 😍 You're right. Vietnam roses are small flowers. It's diameter is just, more or less, one inch. They also belong to the family of succulents. 💕

Ooo.. does it bloom at 10am? I think I have seen a similar looking flower, about one inch or less diameter too, that would bloom at 10am and close by 4pm. They are really cute.
