Mayap a abak! That is the Kapampangan term for 'Magandang Umaga' or 'Good Morning' I started to teach my son some commonly used words in Kapampangan. I want him to learn other dialect aside from Tagalog or English language. Kapampangan is my mother tongue and it's good if he can also speak or understand it. I remember when he was on his vacation in our province in Pampanga, he is playing with the other kids and they talk to him in kapampangan, he was like 'whaaat? what are you talking about, I don't understand any' haha, but still, they continue played and just enjoyed each other company and kids then talk to him in Tagalog. And that is why I'm teaching him little by little so when he encounter people speaking on that language, he'll be able to understand and communicate well. Learning different language is fun but quite difficult😊 How about you guys, what other local dialects or different language that you know and able to speak with?
