No one deserves this illness that causes Pandemic in and around the world. Here in the Philippines, the increasing number of people infected only shows that this will not stop soon. Many people are getting infected and more contact tracing is conducted. Being a Covid19 positive is a real challenge as the government and Local officials seem to lacking of policy in breaking the ice to the infected , Probable or Suspected, or even Confirmed without making them feel less stressful. Even when it comes to urgency to update the data and advise the person infected on what to do and how to survive it, are still a big problem.

It is stated, it should be Confidential. Updates of information of the Confirmed Positive should be done in the comfort of their house and the communication is through phone. This could avoid the LGUs to be one of the close contact of the infected person and will give a sense security to the person itself. Confidential means strictly confidential. People who are involve in the process of contract tracing are should be the ones that demonstrate the safety of the information. It depends on the person infected if they want to be known, yet this should be again, confidential.

Based on experience and sharing of the people around me, this never happened. There are people that able to know who's who are the Confirmed Positive and Suspected. They start to talk about it, until the next neighborhood, leaving the person infected to feel anxious about their situation, making their immune system lower. It happens all the time in my place so I guess if Local Government really wants to help the infected person, they should include taking care of their mind setting as well. There should be a clear policy and protocols for Local Government in dealing with this. They should be oriented and strictly be guided. The policy should make the infected person feel safe while they are being isolated and on the healing process.
