Happy Without Me
Trying to figure out where love resides previously All those love that lasted for some hours All those loves I think I had yesterday Am still wondering about their location today The excitement and memories we shared The poetic words we uttered even without knowing them The beautiful ladies that left and the ones I left without good-byes Yesterday we were both happy, Today we don't want to see our faces Maybe that's how life was meant to be I draw my chair and seat thinking loud " Dem dey Happy so without me? If we come across again If we meet on a mall If our fate ever brings us close This love go still be as e bin dey? Will our body still Sparks light ? Could those early morning smiles still spackles ? Would some words be left unspoken? Should the feelings be left to rest in grave ? Dem still dey Happy without me so? Maybe giving birth and watching over their children have taken my place Past can't be toil with so I set my sails and sail my way but still wondering"
