About Today: The Thief Was Found At Last (True Life Story)

I wrote in my last publication about my brother, Christopher's money been siphoned from his account. Guess what! Yesterday the bank to which the money was sent to later sent the account details. We were all amazed because it's not the person we suspected. I'm happy I didn't point fingers without proofs. The young man who did this looks so innocent. He happened to be someone known by our accountant and project manager. He was being included in one of our projects to work as helper, out of shear pity, just to help him make a living. Nobody knew he is both wicked and heartless. As I got the news to my wife, who's a lawyer, she wanted to take action immediately, by arresting him and get him charged to court. But the accountant and project manager pleaded that we get the money from him first, since Christopher is left with nothing. As planned, immediately we get the money, we can then charge him to court. That way, getting the money won't be delayed because of the porous police force in Nigeria. We have been assured that the money will be refunded latest on Monday. This is the annoying part...... The guy gave one stupid excuse. He said he was asked to bring money for business by his friend. According to him, the business failed and he never used the money. He said he was under pressure to bring the money that's why he stole. I'm sure he'll soon tell that to the judge in court soon before he start facing his jail term. I have been able to calm down my family members on the issue because of the project manager, who is a family friend to us. We are giving him benefit of doubt and we are on our toes, should anything funny comes up.
