I feel like the adverts for the Homescapes games, with their depiction of a poor and unkempt woman in patchwork clothes holding up a jar to receive some money or food, a look of resigned desperation on her face, is an exaggerated caricature of my situation (and that of many). I do not doubt that people will play the game to rescue her from her ongoing plight, but they won't think far enough to actually donate crypto/fiat to help those in need.
