While I am glad to see that Facebook is being taken to task, I am disappointed that it’s restricted to US citizens only. Otherwise, 1M * ~2.5B would surely bleed Meta dry and put a significant dent in its business (if not kill it, which it deserves and which would be justice). Effectively, a $650M fine/payout for a company worth billions is just another slap on the wrist to big business that will carry on being its bad self with impunity, unchecked and undaunted: History is repeating itself yet again thanks to deregulation of semi-monopolies in a freely-exploitable market and legislation that is at least a few (if not several) decades behind. #DeathToMeta #DeathToWeb2 https://www.publish0x.com/cryptocurrencies-a-little-of-everything/reminder-if-you-used-facebook-meta-between-2007-and-2022-you-xjdeozl?a=GRb4QPg6dB&tid=Noise&t=Noise https://www.publish0x.com/cryptographic-viking/the-farce-that-is-farceborg-fiat-tradfi-and-web-20-xlgjzll?a=GRb4QPg6dB&tid=Noise&t=Noise https://www.publish0x.com/cryptographic-viking/go-ask-moonalice-i-think-shell-know-or-down-the-rabbit-hole-xooldek?a=GRb4QPg6dB&tid=Noise&t=Noise
