I don't really like humans, even though I am one. I find us a hard group with which to communicate and to relate. Today is not the first day (and it won't be the last) in which I have the jarring experience of speaking, reading and writing English, yet nobody understands what I've put across, nor do I understand their responses. hence why I have a love-hate relationship with my first language and a fervent wish to learn (or invent) one that's entirely monosemous. So far, my best bet/hope is German, but I haven't got anywhere with that, despite having copies of German for Dummies and Teach Yourself German at my disposal.

People as a whole are dumb fucks, and most are extremely dumber than the others no matter what language you use. This is an unavoidable fact of life.
I have found that much to be generally true and certainly a contributing factor.
