There are few things as annoying and distracting as a dripping tap or shower nozzle (especially if it goes on for most of the day despite being turned off tightly). My bedroom-cum-study area is right next to the bathroom. It's been driving me crazy, only to stop and be followed by rain on my window and walkway.
