"Every time I do something good, you always have to ruin it with your shitty comments." I saw that on a TV show recently and it is something I'd say about my landlady and my family members, because it's accurate. Today, it was the fact that an impromptu job interview seemed to go well and I might actually be given an opportunity to gain fixed employment. It could have been anything, though; no opportunity to criticise or say something pessimistic/negative will be spared.
