Good works can and will never save us from eternal condemnation! We can never gain God's approval through our own efforts, because even the best effort we can do is like a filthy rags in God's sight! We are all hopeless if we will jiust depend on ourselves. But the good news is someone who is perfect came to rescue us and take the punishment due to us. Jesus came and died in our place so that we can have eternal life in heaven. Salvation became possible because of Jesus and His finished work on the cross. All we have to do is the come to Him in faith, putting our complete trust to Him, believing that His finished work is enough to save us. Salvation is a gift. Receive it through faith.
