I read his text today and I liked it Me: Hey God. God: Hi..... Me: falling apart. Can you put me back together? God: I'd rather not. Me: Why? God: Because you are not a puzzle. Me: What about all the pieces of my life falling to the ground? God: Let them stay there for a while. They fell off for a reason. Take some time and decide if you need any of those pieces back. Me: You don't understand! IM falling apart! God: No - you don't understand. You are breaking through. What you feel are only growing pains. You get rid of things and people in your life that hold you back. You won't fall apart. You come to your place. Relax. Take a deep breath and let those things that you no longer need fall away from you. Stop holding on to pieces that no longer suit you. Let them fall away. Let them go. Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me? God: Only the best parts of you. Me: I'm afraid of change. God: I keep telling you - you do NOT change!! YOU ARE BECOMING! Me: I become who? God: You are becoming what I created you to be! A person of light and love and grace and hope and courage and joy and compassion. I made you for more than the shallow pieces you chose to adorn yourself with by clinging to such greed and fear. Let those things fall from you. I love you! You don't change!... Become! Stand up! Become what I created. I will tell you this until you remember. Me: Another piece goes. God: Yes. So be it. Me: So... I'm not broken? God: Of course not! - but you break like the dawn.
