*****Meaning of Traffic Regulations:*****
Traffic regulations are rules that guide and direct the movement of vehicles and other road users along the roads or streets. They are laws that concern how motorists and other road users should move on the road and what may or may not do while using the road.
*****Who are the Road Users?*****
Road users are motorists, pedestrians, children, hawkers, cyclists, passengers and animals. Traffic Regulations for the Pedestrians: first, pedestrians are persons who are walking on the road, especially in an area also used by vehicles. The traffic regulations for pedestrians include;
1) The pedestrian should walk on the pavement or foot path where provided.
2) Should walk on the left side of the road facing oncoming traffic where footpaths are not provided.
3) Wear white or reflective materials while working in the dark so that you can be seen.
4) Do your traffic drills while crossing the road, which is to look left, right and left again when the road is clear, walk directly and quickly being careful not to run to avoid tripping over.
5) Use pedestrian crossing or Zebra crossing.
6) Do not cross the road between or in front of parked vehicles, because the driver may not see you.
7) Stay off the road if you hear the siren or see the flashing of lights.
*****Traffic Regulations for Motorists*****
1) A motorist must obey all road signs and traffic light signals.
2) Must drive any vehicle with a valid driver’s license and other permit required by law.
3) Always fasten seat belt while driving because it helps to prevent severe injuries in case of accident.
4) Should not drink and drive.
5) Must not use GSM phone while driving.
6) Should not overload vehicles with goods or passengers.
7) Use your headlamp when the weather is not clear.
8) Should not obstruct or assault a Road Marshal in the performance of his duty.
9) Do not get too close to the vehicle in front of you, always keep a distance.
10) Must obey traffic wardens and any other official controlling the traffic.
*****Traffic Signs*****
Traffic signs are road signs and symbols, signals and markings that are seen on the roads which give information, direction and warnings to drivers and other road users on how to use the road to ensure smooth flow of traffic. Shapes and colors of road signs tell the type sign. E.g.
1) Regulatory or Prohibitive Signs: these signs are circular in shapes and of two types. They are with red and yellow and they tell what we ought to do.
2) Mandatory Signs: they are those with blue circle but without red borders, they give positive information like; diversion, one way, pedestrian track, 2-way lane ahead, etc.
3) Informative signs: these are usually rectangular in shape and provided guidance information. E.g. ‘Y’ junction, children crossing, road work, dangerous double lane, etc.
4) Traffic Lights: this is found in road junctions. It has three colors- Red color- means do not cross or go, Yellow-means get ready to move across, Green means go or move.
5) Vehicle lights: there are different types of vehicle lights include; Amber lights- hazard lights used by hazardous vehicles, Blue lights- used by volunteer fire fighters. Green Lights, White/Red used by emergency vehicles.
*****Agencies That Manage and Enforce Traffic Rules*****
1) Traffic Warden.
2) Federal Highway Police Patrol (now called Safer Highways)
3) Mobile Court.
4) Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)
5) Vehicle Inspection Officer (VIO)
6) Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), etc.
*****Reasons for Obeying Traffic Regulations*****
1) To check over speeding.
2) To reduce rad accidents.
3) It checks the driver’s excesses.
4) To reduce traffic jam.
5) To enhance smooth flow of vehicles.

*****NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT*****
National development refers to the ability of a country or countries to improve the social welfare of the people, for example, by providing social amenities like good education, infrastructure, medical care, social services, etc.
*****Scope of national development*****
Broadly, development of the nation encapsulates such parameters as:
1. Education
2. Political Development
3. Moral Development
4. Cultural Development
5. Religious Development
6. Economical Development
7. Technological Development
*****Problems of National Development*****
1. Caste system/class system: this has segregated the society due to the continual suppression of the socially neglected caste by the upper/ruling caste. This situation becomes a problem for national development as the upper castes by their actions have ruined the sense of ‘we’ feeling and unity in the country.
2. Communalism: Political manipulation has projected one religion or ethnic group against the other which resulted in communal riot, bloodbath, mutual distrust and disintegration of the country. It is very difficult to promote national development under these situations.
3. Linguistic Fanaticism: There is conflict and riots on the language issue in Nigeria in recent times. People of one language try to establish their language over others. This is a barrier to national development.
4. Regionalism: Each region differs from the other in one way or other which leads to disintegration of the country. People of one region compete with the person of other regions which results to conflict of interests, Land dispute, language problem, etc. are some of the factors which pose hurdle on the way of national development.
5. Social Disparity: Social disparity among the people of different communities, castes sometimes even within the community causes tension and imbalance among the people. Social disparity poses great challenge to national development.
6. Economic Inequalities: Economic standard of people in a state depends on the fertility of land, resources available and manpower management. All the states are not equal in the above factors which leads to economic backwardness of some of the communities.
*****Role of Education in National Development*****.
Education is the most powerful force in promoting national development in the following ways:
1. It ensures human rights development
2. It promotes emotional integration.
3. It ensures technological advancements.
4. It promotes technical education.
5. Education fosters positive attitude.
6. Education guarantees employment opportunities.
7. Education helps to remove illiteracy in the nation.
8. It strengthens democratic principles.
9. It ensures application of knowledge of knowledge.
*****Ways Through Which Democracy Can Contribute to National Development*****.
1. It engenders peace and security
2. It promotes rule of law and constitutionalism.
3. It facilitates effective participation of citizens in governance.
4. It promotes political stability.
5. It promotes poverty alleviation.
6. It prevents arbitrariness in governance.
7. It ensures equity, justice and fair play.
8. It leads to employment generation.
*****Ways in Which Corruption Has Retarded the Development of the Nigerian State*****
1. It increases crime rate in the society which makes the environment unconducive for national development.
2. It creates bad image for the country.
3. It promotes materialistic tendencies among citizens and erodes other core positive values of the nation.
4. It erodes national consciousness, pride and sense of commitment to national course.
5. Nepotism/favoritism becomes the norm in the society.
6. It leads to political instability which can result to military intervention and underdevelopment.
7. It deepens the poverty level of the citizens/country.
8. It leads to inflation of prices of goods and services.
9. It affects the availability of jobs/ causes unemployment.

As you can see from above National development is the ability of a country to improve in the welfare of its people. Drug Trafficking and Its Consequences
Drug Trafficking is not a legal thing to do neither does it help the country economically or nationally. ANYONE ENGAGING IN DRUG TRAFFICKING MUST BE PUT BEHIND BARS. Without wasting much time lets emphasize more on it and how it affects both you and the society at large.
*****Meaning*****- drug trafficking is a global illicit which involves trade the cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, storage and sales of substances which are subject to drug prohibition laws. It is an illegal way of importing and exporting harmful and prohibited drugs, such as cocaine, Indian hemp, heroine, nicotine, marijuana, etc.
*****Reasons for Drug Trafficking*****
1) Poverty: many people engage in drug trafficking as a result of poverty and high rate of unemployment resulting in an untold economic hardship. Many people now engage in drug trafficking in order to enrich themselves.
2) Ignorance: majority of the people involved in drug trafficking are not even aware of the consequences of their actions.
3) Negative Peer Influence: many people are into drug trafficking simply because their friends suddenly became rich through trafficking in drugs or other dubious means and therefore felt that drug peddling could give them such money. This is a very wrong mind set, the fact that your friend has made it through drug peddling does not make it a legitimate business.
*****Consequences of Drug trafficking*****
1) Drug trafficking brings bad reputation and image to the individual’s family and the nation as a whole.
2) Once a drug trafficker is caught in the act, he would be sentenced to a jail term of not less than ten years.
3) Sometimes, the culprit can face a death penalty in some countries like the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).
4) Culprits can be made to pay heavy fines.
5) It can lead to forfeiture of local and foreign assets including bank accounts.

So as you can see drug trafficking does not only affect the society but you at most times. Look at the consequences you will see that most of the consequences are laid upon the individual.
If you are caught you will bring a bad reputation upon your family members and yourself so if you don 't want to kill your family's image you will avoid trafficking and selling of hard drugs.
Responsible Parenthood
*****Meaning of responsible Parenthood*****
Responsible parenthood refers to the state of carrying out parental duties and functions in the family and society effectively and efficiently. It means parents being able to take care of their children and raise them up in such a way that they become good and responsible adult members of the society.
*****Roles of Responsible Parenthood*****
1) Providing for the Household (i) Responsible parenthood has the role of knowing the number of children that can be adequately accommodated in the household based on the available accommodation. (ii) Responsible parenthood provides security for every member of the household, it ensures that the children are protected from all harmful influences in the society. (iii) makes provision for old age facilities, e.g. pensions, old people’s home, etc. (iv) provides for regular feeding of members of the household.
2) Caring (i) Caring for young members. (ii) caring for the old people who can no longer provide enough for themselves.
3) Education: responsible parenthood plays the role of giving both formal and informal education to its members.
4) Good Home Training: (i) it inculcates morals to the members of the household. The girl child best type of home training and formal education to enable her build her own home.
(ii) it teaches values like; honesty, trustworthiness, contentment, discipline, courage, etc. to enable its members adapt to the secondary society. (iii) provides good home training and family life education.
5) Conflict Resolution: responsible parenthood knows how to manage social conflicts and other interpersonal crisis like lack of tolerance, lack material resources, etc. such matters can easily be resolved through dialogue, counselling and reprimands.
*****Importance of responsible Parenthood*****
1) Responsible Citizenry: it acts as a springboard for the production of responsible citizenry in the society. this could be observed in the following ways; (a) responsible citizenry turns out in their numbers to responsible for the candidates of their choice.
(b) they help to bring to bring about free and fair election in the country. (c) good and responsible parenthood produces citizens that know their rights, privileges and duties.
(d) it produces citizens who love and serve their country selflessly and contribute to national development.
2) Reduction in Crime: crimes and other anti-social behaviours are abhorred in every society. Responsible parenthood therefore, inculcates home and societal values which make its members hold their family name to esteem and above any negative action like examination malpractice, cultism, sexual abuse robbery, trafficking in persons, drug trafficking, etc.
3) Healthy Nation: people who are given adequate and sound education, right type of food, decent shelter, security and unbeatable recreational facilities will spend less medication and be able to contribute to the growth of their country’s economy.
*****Consequences of Irresponsible Parenthood*****
1) Shortage of food and other material needs.
2) Congestion or lack of space for the members of the family.
3) Over population of apartment can lead to having many children that may constitute social menace.
4) Non-provisions of formal education for the children.
5) Increase in crime rate.
6) Divorce and lack of trust.
7) Premature deaths.
8) Disease and ignorance.

If I am you and I am a parent I will do my best to control him or her and make sure I teach that child the good things of life and not the bad ones. Once this is done then the Crime rate will be depleted.
Effects of Nationalism on Nigeria.
1. Formation of Political Parties: the emergence of nationalism paved way for the
formation of political parties that reformed and gave political orientation to
Nigerians. E.g. the Nigeria National Democratic Party (NNDP 1923), Lagos Youth
Movement (LYM 1934), Nigerian Youth Movement (NYM 1936), etc.
2. Introduction of Elective Principle: based on the demand of the nationalists for
political participation, the Clifford Constitution of 1922 introduced elective
principle in Nigeria.
3. International Concern and Sympathy: it gave rise to recognition and concern of
foreign countries especially black Americans and many Pan-African movements
outside Africa. Blacks around the world recognised and supported the efforts of
their African brothers.
4. Independence of West African states: nationalistic struggle resulted in eventual
independence of Nigeria in 1960.
5. Training Ground for Future Leaders: nationalism prepared Nigerians for
leadership and they were able to take over from the colonialists. Political parties in
colonial era informed and enlightened Nigerians politically so they were able to
form their own political parties in the second and third republics.
6. Extension of Franchise: continued demand by the nationalists for increased
political participation resulted in extension of franchise to many individual and
areas.
Nationalism in Nigeria
I am recalling all that I was though in the secondary school back then in Nigeria.
Nationalism can be defined as “a strong patriotic feeling for one's own country a desire for independence of one's country or nation”.
*****Early Nigerian Nationalists*****
The teacher mentions some of the early Nigerian nationalists such as; Herbert Macaulay (who was known as the father of Nigeria nationalism), Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, H.O. Davis, Tafawa Belewa, Mrs Margaret Ekpo, etc..
*****Factors that Led to the Rise and Growth of Nationalism in Nigeria*****
1. Growth of Western Education- the intellectual power of people like; W.B. Du bois, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Herbert Macaulay, Casely Hayford, etc. made them to be focused and determined to liberate their people.
2. Racism- the British government made use of discrimination to suppress their African counterparts who were regarded as inferior to the Whites. The ability of Nigerian elites to identify this gave rise to nationalism.
3. Emergence of Political Parties- the emergence of the first political party in Nigeria, the NNDP which was founded by Macaulay propelled the growth of nationalism in Nigeria. The N.Y.M and N.C.N.C also played significant roles as their activities led to increased African participation in politics.
4. Heavy Taxation- the rate of heavy taxes on the people by the colonial government became unbearable for the people. This also resulted in the Aba Women Riot of 1929.
5. Role of the Press- the importance of the press in nationalism cannot be overemphasized. The establishment of newspapers like; the West African Pilot by Azikiwe, the Comet by Mohammed Ali, Lagos Daily News by Herbert Macaulay, etc. provided avenue to expose the exploitative nature of colonialism.
6. Trade Unionism- the formation of trade unions like the West African Students` Union (WASU) in 1925 helped to encourage nationalism in Nigeria.
*****External factors that Encouraged Nationalism*****
1. British Labor party- the British Labor Party played a significant role in the growth of nationalism in West Africa. It criticized and condemned British colonialism and demanded self-government for all British colonies. Their criticism acted as a morale booster to African nationalists.
2. Pan Africanism- this was a movement of all black race all over the world demanding for the autonomy of black race. The pan African congress was held in 1945. The movement started in West Indies (presently, Haiti).
3. Loss of British Prestige in the world war- the defeat suffered by Britain in the hands of Japan which was a non-European power made west Africans to realize that Britain can be defeated after all and were not as powerful or invincible as they thought.
4. Indian Independence- the independence of India in 1947 and Ghana 1957 rekindled the fire of nationalism in the minds of West Africans. This challenged Africans because India had been a British colony for a long time before the colonization of Africa.
5. Atlantic Charter of 1941- the charter emphasized the right to self-determination to all people of the world and that influenced Nigerians to develop nationalistic feelings and to join in the fight for independence from colonial rule.
6. Ex-service men- the world war veterans exposed the myth surrounding the Whiteman and in fact, they were human beings and can die after all.

Impacts of Colonialism in Nigeria: Negative and Positive
*****Positive Impacts of Colonialism*****
1. Introduction of Western Education: colonial rule made it possible for West Africans to be exposed to western education. The colonial masters built schools and colleges in their colonies which enabled most Africans to acquire western education.
2. Introduction of Modern legal system: the French and British governments introduced their legal system in their colonies which were improvement on the African legal system.
3. Introduction of Modern religion: the colonialists came with missionaries who introduced the Christian religion. The Christian religion fought against evil traditional practices such as; human sacrifice, killing of twins, etc. and other inhuman practices. The activities of the missionaries accelerated the pace of social development in West Africa.
4. Economic Gain: economically, West African countries established trade relations with Britain and France. Britain is the major trade partner with her former colonies and France is doing the same.
5. Development of Political parties: colonialism brought about the development of political parties in West Africa. This came as a result of the introduction of elective principle by the colonialists, a development that promoted nationalism in the continent.
6. Uniform Civil Service: the civil service of the various colonies was fashioned after those of their colonial masters.
*****Disadvantages or Negative Impact of Colonialism in West Africa*****
1. Imposition of foreign culture on the people: the colonizers imposed their culture on the people of West Africa and forced them to imbibe the foreign cultures especially in the French colonies.
2. Inadequate Western Education: the colonial form of education retarded the rate of our economic, social and political development because the colonial education was centered on; reading, writing and arithmetic.
3. Exploitation: trade with African colonies was purely exploitative as the colonial masters took the raw materials at take-away prices and return the finished products at high costs. They fixed the prices of both raw materials and the good in ways that favored them.
4. Absence of Human resources development: colonial rule failed to advance Africa along the path of human resources development.
Life in the Village is Better than Life in the City

**Life in the Village is Better than Life in the City**
Good afternoon the Executive Director,
The Director,

My name is - from SS - Gamma and I am here to propose the motion that says Life in the Village is Better than Life in the City with these few points.
The physical environment in the village is healthier than that of the city. The surroundings in our villages are very clean. When all of us go to the villages during Christmas or other festivals, don’t we see how clean the environment is. Every morning, all the members of a particular family come out to sweep their surroundings. This makes the surrounding conducive and good for people to live in. That is why people live longer in the villages than in the city where people don’t dispose of their wastes properly. Every day we hear of different viruses flying around in the atmosphere and if the environment is not healthy people will contract such diseases or viruses e.g. Coronavirus.
Though houses in the village are not all fenced, the village is free from thieves unlike the city. The villagers are not always attacked by thieves and robbers. I hardly hear of armed robbers or complaints of stolen items from people. In the village they respect each other’s lives and properties. But in the city, unsatisfied buffoons will go out in the afternoon or night wearing black clothes to people’s houses to take what does not belong to them. They disrespect people’s lives and properties.
The villagers live more of communal life than the city dwellers. The rural dwellers live a good life which is worthy of emulation. They can do anything to help each other, this is called peaceful co-existence. They share with people and do all sorts of good things. But in the city, envy is everywhere. City dwellers become very jealous when they see their neighbors possess things they don’t have. This often leads to kidnapping, armed robbery and all sorts of evils in the society.
The village is free from industrial gas release which is deadly and harmful to human lives. The rich men and women who own oil and gas companies in the cities know very well that gases come out from their industries. These gases are very deadly and harmful to human health. But in the villages there are no oil and gas industries and we all know that the villagers are not at the top financially. If they come in contact with such gases, it can cause harm to the inhabitants of the village. This is also why they live longer and don’t fall sick easily like the city dwellers.
I know that my opponents may be of the opinion that those in the city have more access to hospitals, lights and good roads but it’s not so these days because everyone is now enlightened such that politicians are now extending these basic amenities to the grassroots, else they won’t vote them next time. The leaders are now reaching out to the villagers in order for them to assist him in the next election. The village is not too underdeveloped. But as long as you can’t live in a place with a good environment, an environment void of social evils and an environment where there is love and care for each other, it is better to live in the village than in the city.

Dear Bosco,
It’s definitely been a while since my last letter right? I’m really sorry bro, I’ve been very busy lately trying to learn about politics. That’s my dream course you know. I heard you were for a prefect ship post in your school! Bosco, the Bosco, you continue to be the greatest man this side of the Niger.
In response to your previous letter, I am writing to inform you that I intend to study political science in the university. Laugh all you want, but venturing into politics has been my dream since primary school, and I decided to take it up as a course in my ss 1. I believe I am well suited to not only study the course, but to occupy a seat of power in our country. Why?
To begin with I am academically qualified to study this course. The educational system in Grundtvig is fantastic and I’ve acquired a lot of knowledge on the government, laws and customs of this country; at least at the basic levels that secondary school education can provide. Combined with a solid tertiary education, I’ll be intellectually sound and up to the task.
In addition, I don’t mean to blow my own horn, but I believe I possess strong leadership skills. I have occupied the position of the class monitor and captain of my house football team for over three years now, and I have performed excellently in the both. I was also nominated for the social prefect in my school. This not only shows the trust teachers and students have in my leadership skills but also the great relationship I share with them, for them to consider me for that post.
Finally, I a diehard patriot of our country, Nigeria. I believe I have the capacity to produce a great impact in our country be it economically, globally and in every other ramification-so help me God.

Here is the answer to Assignment One
****The Theme of Death****
Death is the central theme of “Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night**”** Throughout the poem, the speaker likens death to darkness and nighttime—the “good night” of the poem’s title—while comparing life to light. The poem is showing us (the readers) a complex attitude towards death. The speaker knows that death is impossible to evade, but urges his father to fight it for as long as he can. Yet the poem suggests that despite death’s inevitability, one can overcome it in some sense by leaving behind great words and actions, which requires resisting the temptation to yield to death. For example, in the second stanza, the “wise men” mourn the fact that their words haven’t had enough influence, and in the third, “good men” lament how much their deed would have stood out had they been stronger. These groups of men decide not to go gentle into that good night because they have not achieved much. All these men were presented to his dying father so that he would not give in to death.

****Time****
Yes, I agree that time was presented in the poem. In the poem, the poet says that the women in his time used to sing songs whose lyrics represented the hard work that they suffered during ploughing of land, the pain they suffered when they were treated as servants, handcuffed and ill-treated. Oumar is telling us(the readers) those times when they were treated badly and molested. From these lines of the poem we will know that time was referenced here.
they sang in the forlorn fields
about their lives, songs
of how they ploughed the terrain of their landscape
for memories of lyrics lost in the vast void of time,
in those days when a song beheld their lives;
when servitude cuffed the ankles of their soul,
and dereliction decapitated the epic of their lives.
Three lines to the end of the poem he said
Yet time strips the lyrics and scars the tune,
leaving a dying song.
Dead!
This tells us that time is dominant in this poem. But now the women who were singing were dead and the song and lyrics were gone. The lyrics were now used by local poets and singers. The voice of the song was dead now. The song was no longer comforting.

Essay: Religion Has Done More Harm Than Good in our Society.
This is the question assigned to me by my subject teacher: In an Education for Life Programme held at the School's Auditorium, argue for or against the topic: Religion Has Done More Harm Than Good in our Society.
Here was my response to the questions given and how I tackled the question. LEARNING IS SWEET!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen.
I am here to speak in favor of the opposition that "Religion Has Done More Harm Than Good in our Society". Religion is the belief in the existence of a god or gods and also the activities that are connected with the worship of them. To me and my debaters, we believe that religion has been beneficial to us in every area of our lives.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I believe that you all know that religion is and was a good source of our education and civilization then and now. The first schools to come into existence were the Missionary schools which are Christian schools. The same is also applicable to the Islamic religion over there in the north. Islamic schools were also the first group of schools to come into existence in Nigeria. If I am to say, none of us here would have been educated if not for religion.
The majority of our past heroes such as Herbert Macaulay, Alvan Ikoko, Alhaji sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, just to mention a few, were products of the mission or Islamic schools. All persons mentioned now contributed immensely towards the progress of Nigeria. Am I right or am I right.
No religion in Nigeria teaches bad acts and irresponsibility. This will tell you that religion has helped us in our morals and has disciplined us so well. Almost every religion has code of conduct, dos and don'ts. Even the African Traditional Religion also have their own taboos that guide their everyday lives. The Bible and the Koran, the holy books of the Christian and the Muslim preach against murder, stealing, cheating and other evils that are happening in our society because of some infidels.
Ladies and Gentlemen let me now comment on what one of the speakers of the opposing side said. He said that Commercialism of Religion has made nonsense of religion. I will agree with him, well the truth is painful. Some of our religious leaders have turned the churches into a business center where money is their number one priority not God or the people. Which is very wrong. In every profession there must be some bad eggs. So we must not condemn religion because of some few bad eggs and turn to the majority.
Finally having stated all the most powerful points I know, I believe I totally Convinced you that Religion Has Done More Good Than Evil in our Society.

Let me not complement myself and say that I was a good write or arguer. Actually I was still poor in English but now I think I have improved. I love writing and that was why I joined this platform for me to improve my writing skills and one day prosper in the writing field. Peace and Unity
The title looks very interesting but where to start from is the problem. The two terms you see up there as the title are quite similar or let me say that they are progressive in nature. One can't be done without the other.
I think I will start with unity because I have only a little to emphasize on there.

Unity, Unity. When you hear the word comes into your ears what do you interpret it to be?
I acknowledge that the first term that would come into your mind would be TOGETHERNESS. Here is a full meaning of what you desire. **Unity** is being together or at one with someone or something. It's the opposite of being divided. This is a word for togetherness or oneness. I remember in the first paragraph telling you that without one the other cannot be achieved. Now look at the meaning of unity can't you notice that without Unity you can never attain peace. This terms were also part of the significances of the flag of Nigeria.
When you are on your own you can never achieve something much or maybe you will only achieve a little but when there is unity and togetherness there will be no problem too big for you to change. Unity brings about hope for the future because without unity no citizen of any country or individual will have hope that something extra ordinary will come up in the future. Without unity and togetherness of mind nothing in this world will ever have been created not even the street lights you see everyday.
*****Peace*****
Peace is a state of feeling secure and safe from every calamity, problem or war. Simply it means that when there is no war the whole society at large is at peace. When there is peace there freedom and harmony in all that you want to achieve from day to year.
There are different things that I have to emphasize here. Apart from war and other forces of external peace there is also need to attain peace of mind and heart. I refer to that as inner peace. Inner peace relieves you of all the stress and over thinking enclosed in your body. If you do not take care of your inner peace you can become sick of headache and other mind illnesses. Inner peace relaxes your brain muscles and helps you take advantage of your emotions and feeling.
Outer peace is peace with your friends and individuals living in and around your environment. When there is peace in the society of course progress will be attained. Progress is another term I will emphasize on when I write my next article.
Different things you can do to obtain world peace and make people in your environment and society very happy.
Smile to people no matter whether they are indifferent, angry, or unhappy. A smile can melt even the coldest heart.
Forgive people and take them as they are. Take their religions, races, and personal differences. Forgive their mistakes and wrongdoings.
Respect every living thing. Everybody wants to be happy and treated with respect.
Never support violence. Stand up for those who are weaker.
Enjoy what you have now, enjoy every moment of your life. Do not amass negative memories and emotions. Do not try to predict and plan your future. You never know what will happen tomorrow. Thus, enjoy the present.
These points were accumulated and trusted by me from different sites and I came up with it.

The individuals in our area are quite aware of the group of cultists that are menacing the society. Some people have been killed due to the attacks and many have been robbed of their property. The death rate has increased, our land is stained with blood and ears. The state of our area is quite unbearable; the people are very angry and are in need of your help and assistance.
The Police is not active in our area, we hardly see policemen trooping around neither in the day nor in the night. I write this letter to ask for the recruitment of policemen into our area, Oba. Since I am a secretary of the area, they pleaded with me to write a letter to you for assistance. Please Sir a lot of people are counting on you and me because they know of your assistance to other areas. They believe that with you something can be done to clear the menace of this cultist. I am willing and ready to receive a positive response from you. I know you will not let us down, Thank you.

As you can see from that letter you will see at the beginning the secondary school I studies in all my life. I studies in Anambra state, Nigeria. The name of my school was Grundtvig International Secondary School.
This letter was written about 2 to 3 years before my entry into the university. This letter was given as an assignment. I have my secondary school note in the library located in my house. I still remember my school days and I will seize never to forget it.

Benefits of Online Learning
Some experts in the field of education are now selling the idea that online teaching is becoming more efficient that teaching students who stay on campus. The students who stay on campus do not give rapt attention to the message the teacher is trying to pass on. They don’t even carry out research on the assignments given maybe because of financial challenges. This is where online learning comes in to change the story.
There is increased convenience and access to course materials and collaboration with other students. Online learning has made education easier and faster for students. Students currently prefer staying at home to connect to the internet and do their lessons. The lock down has been very beneficial to many pupils and students, online learning has made a way for them to copy notes and learn with their teachers. It also enables them to do their assignments uploaded by various subject teachers. All students work together during lessons by asking and answering questions.
The students who take their classes online perform as well, or better, than those who take classes on campus. The teachers have enough time to take the students on a wonderful tour in their education. On campus, teachers are given a limited time to teach the students and that time will not fit into the scheme of work for the term. Some teachers don’t even cover all areas before the assessment tests or even the exams. In the case of online teaching, teachers can schedule a lesson any time they want, without being distracted or obstructed. Some of the teachers schedule private lessons with a student who might have problems with his/her subject, enabling the student to understand the subject better. This will help both the student and the teacher to cover all areas and explain to the students all that needs explanation.
The teachers can easily monitor individual contributions and provide prompt feedback and assessment. There is enough time for teachers to receive all questions fired to them by the students. This enables a powerful collaboration between the students and the teachers. Online learning has made students contribute immensely during lessons by asking questions and answering questions.
Online learning is often asynchronous which allows students the flexibility to participate in activities and discussions at their convenience. Online learning has bridged the gap of excellence and introduced us into the digital world. This is a miracle for all students and their teachers.
I wonder which one is better. This lockdown I became too depressed during my online teaching but I do not know about you. You can drop comments on which one you prefer better. I can at least consider physical teaching and experience to online ones. Drop comments please this is somehow argumentative.

The Cameroon Flag
As I said the flag of a country is used for its identity. I am trying to say that if a country does not have a flag it does not really show its sovereignty or possess an identity which others can see and know. To me I don't think a country without a flag is independent.
A place like Nigeria now can be identified because it has its objects for identity. In Nigeria these are the objects of identity; The Nigerian Flag, The Coat of Arms, etc. Cameroon also posses their various object of identity. But today I will be looking at the Cameroon flag, what it signifies? and also refer its signs to the state of the country.
The green compartment represents the forest in the southern parts of Cameroon. Cameroon has thick forest in all parts but mostly in the southern parts. This is easily understandable so I don't need to emphasize more on this.
The red stripe or compartment represents Unity. If there is any country that does not possess unity then that country is as good as finished. Without unity there is no corporation and when there is no corporation there is no Peaceful Coexistence.
The Yellow stripe represents the sun and also some savanna regions in the country. Even from the article you will notice that most of it comprises of different natural creations by God or nature as non religious people might declare.
Cameroon
Cameroon, Cameroon, Cameroun!!! actually I do not know how to describe my feeling of happiness. Cameroun is a lovely country that possess integrity and humility. Cameroun is a lovely country full of peaceful and intelligent citizens who do not seek war but unity between them and other countries. As at now I am sure that the only problem facing Cameroon is our language barrier.
In Cameroon Le langue Français (French) is the most widely spoken language over there. I come from one of the northern parts of Cameroon and that is why I am able to speak English fluently and otherwise I schooled in Nigeria which is also an Anglophone country. I am sure that many of you are wondering why I love Nigeria so much. That was because of they taught me English and basically other different reasons. Nigeria is where all my educational issues were settled. That is the reason why I cherish Nigeria so much.
Cameroon is a country where I see many interesting tourist sites and bright histories. Some of these places are Yaounde, Limbe, Waza National Park, Douala, Foumban, Korup National park, Mefou National Park and many more interesting places. I have gone to almost half of these places. I hope to visit all some day after all these corona tussles are over. Actually my educational career was all that took all the time for me to visit all these interesting places. Cameroon has zoos containing different kinds of animals. I thank God I am from and I was born in a place like Cameroon.
One thing I cherish about Cameroon are its citizens. Cameroonians are very kind and fun to talk with. I will not lie about this; when I went to Nigeria a minority of them are not good in fact the area which I lived in many the people I stayed with were not that friendly. Language was also a huge limitation to my social life but all the same there were also good people there with me so I do not feel bad studying there. There are so many languages in Nigeria, the one which I encountered in the state I lived in was Hausa. Although it is a popular language it took me a bunch of time to grab some key words in the language. I still excelled in my studies and came out of Nigeria successfully.
Cameroon is a country where everyone is welcome both for tourism and private purposes. Another thing I like about Cameroon are her talented and skillful footballers. I am not really a die hard fan of football but the most popular footballer I know is Sadio Mane. He is a professional footballer who plays for liverpool.

Nigerian Coat of Arms
The Coat of Arms as derived from plenty sites I searched is a symbol also used for identity. This will be a very simple article I am just trying to emphasize more on what the Nigerian citizens deserve. I don't see a reason why they should be maltreated or treated badly. REPRESENT WHAT YOUR NATION MEANS!!!
The part in which there is a Y which and wavy shaped compartment on the black shield represents the meeting or conjoining of two different river in a particular state in the country. Due to plagiarism checks I wouldn't like to mention the names of the various rivers and the state where they meet.
The black shield represents the possession of a good and fertile ground. This is to tell you that the Nigerian soil is suitable for anything including planting.
The horses you see represent dignity. As at now Nigeria can never be awarded a dignity award because they have no trace of it.

The Nigerian Flag
I have being writing about the current situations and problems Nigeria is facing now and yet one question has come from @Seersam "Where are you from?" That question is very fascinating in fact I do not know where to start from but I will specially write an article about that but as for now let me focus on what I came here for.
I love Nigeria so much that I wish I was a citizen of that country. Nigeria is a country that deserves a better treatment than the one they are receiving now. That is why I am emphasizing more on the country. Now lets learn what the Flag represents.
The Green stripes of the Nigerian flag represent The wealth they possess in the country. Nigeria is a very wealthy country but the wealth and the money entering is being stolen by the ruling leaders.
The White stripe represent peace in Nigeria. Right now that white stripe is being insulted. The white stripe was used to clean the blood of innocent citizens. I wonder what that one means but I hope change will come soon.

"TAAAAAAA TAAAA ATAAAA ATAAA ATAAAAA ATAAAA AATAAA" and that was the sound of a gunshot. People were killed during a peaceful protest "Why Why Why". You call yourself a President but you have not made any changes since the last 6-7 years of your fucked up tenure. I can see why Nigerians and Nigeria as a who is not moving forward. It is because you who call yourself a President is not there for them.
I have been to Nigeria before and at that time everything seemed so peaceful. I can recall that the only problem Nigeria had was the menace and brutality of Boko Haram. The roads were good and safe if possible I will sleep on the road and wake up with my body parts still complete. A man who sleeps on the road might not even feel himself again because he has already gone to meet his eternal father.
Before night travels are usually very interesting and sweet but now if you try booking or boarding for one you are just preparing your grave. You just wasted your money not only money but life. "You booked to Die". Before you have gone half your journey you have already been ambushed and taken into the woods for immorality or for rituals. Usually this days they kidnap individuals, cut important and vital parts of their body and give it to native doctors who worship "uncivilized and fake unsupreme beings (gods)".
They call them SARS (Special Anti-Robbery Squad) entitled with the duty of protecting the lives and property of the citizens of Nigeria but they end up increasing it by a 100 times. May I ask What is so "Anti-Robbery" about them. They end up being the ones robbing from innocent individuals who have done nothing but minding their business. During day and night travel they suspect different citizens and anyone the see with a very expensive phone they call them "G or Yahoo Boys". Majority of the victims of this allegation are men or boys.
Nigerians come out to protest hoping for **change** in which the ruling political party, APC (All Progressive Congress), promised them but they have not seen any for the past 6 to 7 years. The Federal Government of Nigeria should take things real serious or else the whole Nigeria will be swallowed up. They do not have the right to kill people but only to protect them. Please ***END SARS OR END YOUR FUTURE.***
A Super Lesson to Nigerians
I just read an article written by @Seersam , a Nigerian who loves his/her country so well that she could sacrifice her time and energy to write such a brilliant article. I wished that article could be published both in Nigerian and African newspapers. Everything stated in that article drew us to the national anthem of the country.
I believe that the problem with Nigeria is her leader. The president of Nigeria was referred to as a dead man by the former or current President of the United States of America. I may have exaggerated there but according to my ears He was told to be a Lifeless person. His personality does not even require a capital letter cause he does not warrant it in any way.
Nigeria is referred to as the Giant of Africa but because of bad governance they actually do not deserve such a big title. The government of Nigeria have turned their citizens into animals. Just imagine because of the hunger they jumped into the building holding palliatives for Covid19 patients and took them out for their advantage. I believe that writing foreign scholarship exams that will take you abroad is kind of useless because no one wants to welcome in animals into their country.
Nigerians are trying to end up police brutality but the bad government of Nigeria are not willing and ready to ensure that is done. All they think about is how much they can eat, steal and embezzle. They keep criminals on the road and call those places checkpoints. "Who dash them checkpoint". Those checkpoints are just used for collecting frustrating amounts of money from innocent people, eat and sleep. I am quite sure that when they notice the "individuals in high places" coming they would wake up from the "land of dreams" they were at. That is severe eye service. If it is possible all those police men should be given at least two little gravels as salary because they came to make things worse instead of better.
I rest my case here because if I continue I will enter into another topic. My lesson for the Nigerians is to tell them that they show hopefully wait for Buhari's tenure to be over so that they can become One again because as long as he is here they are still more than 36.
