Hello, just finished work. I get to work at home today. My birthday is fast approaching. Its so happen that me and my baby are of the same birthday which is this August 16. I would want to buy her a cake but it's getting expensive here now. Way back we can buy a cake at $6 now its around $12 or so. People may judge telling me theres no need to have such as long us we have healthy life but to the childs day it is different. Am I the only one here who is always afraid of what the future may bring? Im not actually afraid for myself but for my kids. I mean, if I may think about it what I have now is already good for me. Im contented. But I wanted my kids to have better. Sometimes, Id question myself if I can be a good parent to them... I want them to be financially literate but dont want to pressure them as well.

Here in PH if babies are sick (im referring to middle to low class) in the family, instead of going to the doctor people would go to quack. They'd massage the baby from the shoulder down to the hips... Then after that, mostly the baby would be fine. They wont just allow the baby to bath for a day while observing as well if the fever would reoccur. If the babys sickness is related to teething they would ask you to steam or boil some herbs and have it taken by the baby... So…

Life Update: My mother in law just got out of the hospital. She was admitted because her hemoglobin went down to 3 only. She spent more than a week in the hospital and had 4 bags of blood transfusion for recovery. Since she was bleeding she undergone TVs and the doctor mentioned that the lining on her uterus is getting thicker which causes her bleeding. Such a weird illness that may come to anyone. We'd have to really take good care of our body.
