Sunday service was good yunno. I learnt quite a thing or two even though I was taking turns to check my phone (I wasn’t caught by anyone🤣) The teacher talked about how the next generations (that is the children and the youth) are the future of any vision. A question was asked that if there’s a vision for any organization for the next twenty years, who would you rather share the vision with, a 17 year old boy or a 70 year old man? It’s obviously the 17 year old boy. So this got me thinking about my government and the politics here. For any country to succeed and stand the test of time, there must be intentional mobilization and equipping of the young people in the country to be involved in its activities and operation. It is sad that this is a challenge here as we have aged people occupying posts meant for the next generations. Young people are limited to positions of little importance, where they can’t influence the country, where they can’t cause change to happen. This saddens me. I’ll just keep praying for a better country. Or what should I do? Join politics? 🤔 #RandomThoughts
