As much as I am excited about resuming my final session in my university, all the stress and expenses that come with resumption have started surfacing. Just today, a memo was released by the student affairs department that balloting for hostel accommodation will be done next Thursday 28th. This is not really a great news. Balloting for bedspace in my school is like fighting for one’s life. The student portal site is always crashing as it will be overloaded from massive traffic. Last session, I was among the few lucky students to get bed space and mehn, I really worked for it. I was on my system from 6am till afternoon when I eventually given accommodation. Some of my friends sent their details to family and friends in different countries 🤣 I hope this year won’t be as stressful as the last time. #RandomThoughts
