We're waiting for the pots to be delivered. My son and I gonna plant later. Doing household tasks can teach children a lot. Chores teach children what it takes to start caring for themselves, a home, and a family. They discover skills that will help them in their entire lives, such as meal preparation, cleaning, organizing, and gardening. Chores also provide children with practice in personal development such as speaking effectively, discussing, sharing intelligence, and working together as a team. When children participate in family relationships, they feel more skilled and committed. Even if they don't appreciate the task, they get a sense of accomplishment when they complete it. Sharing housework can also help families who are struggling.
