However, to realize that glass can be refilled means that you can find ways to completely change the situation. If we say this literally, you can change the whole situation, for example by removing the old tea and adding something new, such as a soda. You don't need to accept a negative situation, but with a positive attitude when we take the figurative significance. Instead, you can choose to change your path.
