Be Kind To Others First and foremost, you should always be kind to others when you have the opportunity. You never know what someone else is going through, and you don't want to add to their misery. Being kind isn't tough, and it doesn't cost you anything, so there's no reason to be anything other than that. Allow yourself to be annoyed if someone accidentally stumbles into you. Don't be upset if someone doesn't say thank you after you've done something nice for them. Don't stop being nice because someone else isn't, because it defeats the purpose of being nice just for the sake of being nice.
