I stumbled on the movie while surfing the Internet and the storyline caught my attention because it was emotional for me, some of my friends already know that I do get emotional very quickly when I see people in a terrible condition, it gets worse if I can't solve the problem.

The movie is titled. "Pihu"

The story of Pihu wasn't made a movie just for fun, it was written to call our attention to the issue of domestic violence tearing many homes apart in the society today.

The movie specifically pointed at the issue of domestic violence in marriages and I would say It is a trending problem in the world today.

It is very common now to say that the couples involved are adults and they can handle things if the marriage doesn't work out but have you considered the effects the violence is having on the kids involved with the families that are suffering from domestic violence?

You might not understand what it really means until you watch the movie of a two years old girl who walked through death not knowing what was even happening around her.

Pihu's mother lost the battle to domestic violence.

She was been abused by her husband until she was forced to take her own life a day after her daughter's birthday.

She left a suicide note which the little Piju was staring at but couldn't read, she was looking at her mother lifeless on the bed but she couldn't figure out what was happening to her mother.

After trying so hard to wake her mom, she decided to find her way around the home until her dead mother wakes up.

The young angel tried making herself feel very comfortable not knowing that she was in great danger.

Her father called, she struggled to get the phone and all she could hear was her father yelling at her mother again for making him late to an appointment. The girl couldn't explain what was going on to the father and the bully thought his wife didn't want to talk to him because he abused her before leaving the home.

Finally, after getting bored of talking to herself alone in the house because her mom wasn't responding.

She asked her mom for permission to use the same drug her mother was holding while dead. Without waiting for permission, she took the drug and ate some pieces of it.

With the running water overflowing, sparks from electricity, and fire from the pressing iron her father left unplugged, little Pihu passed out.

The neighbors discovered that things weren't right with the flames and water flowing out of the apartment but they couldn't break into the apartment. The husband finally came back to see his loved one lying lifeless.

He couldn't help but broke into tears but it was too late. The story didn't end there but I will let you find time to watch the movie yourself because something unexpected happened.

The movie is a true-life story and I wouldn't doubt it because this issue of domestic violence has become very rampant in the world we live in and it baffles me a lot how the world would hand domestic violence because it looks like it is a normal thing to expect from relationships these days.

Domestic violence has claimed the life of many people, it has strengthened itself among us by giving the younger generation the orientation of applying violence in doing things as they grow.

I watched the movie then and I must say it really got me crying because when Pihu are the poisonous drugs, I thought she was dead. All I could say was God was with her all through. If something would have happened, it would have claimed her lives but God prevented and made everything slow and to His own timing.

Look at how Nepa was taking the light and when the Gen couldn't be fixed, it was all God's timing.

Domestic violence is so risky and bad especially to children around. The movie is really a call to every home experiencing such violence.
