BE CAREFUL, APPLY WISDOM !!! The lion is the king of the jungle, the king of all animals. He ruled the kingdom as he liked. He made any animal his servant, he killed for sport. He did this for long. Then, one day... The lion, as the king, decided to celebrate his golden jubilee (50 years) of his ascension to the throne. So, he called his fellow animals to celebrate with him. All the animals honoured his invitation. All the animals were punctual except Tortoise, who came very late. When he later came, he met no animals outside. Lion beckoned on Tortoise to enter. But Tortoise was wise. At first, he hesitated. His hesitation made him to observe the footprints of the animals who had earlier visited. The footprints showed that the animals went in, but there was no footprints of animals leaving his palace. This was a signal to Tortoise. It meant the animals that went in were killed by Lion. And then, Tortoise took to his heels. This story should not be seen as a mere animal story but as a call to be wary of evil people, bad leaders, etc in our societies.
