We often wonder if there are alien races on other planets, but what if an alien race evolved here on Earth? Some Paleontologists have theorized that had the Mesozoic not ended, that some species of dinosaurs may have evolved to become more intelligent, and even develop their own civilization. This hypothetical dinosaur is often called the Dinosauroid. Some people might say if its a dinosaur then it cant be an alien. Well that depends on how you look at it. If you mean alien as in from another planet then no, they are not. However if you mean alien as in foreign/different from us than yes they are. Paleontologist Jack Horner once said that anything that is foreign/different from us is alien to us, and even though dinosaurs come from Earth they come from a completely different time than our own, which in a sense makes them alien to us. I personally think this is a rather interesting idea. Could dinosaurs really have developed their own civilization, totally alien from our own? On the left is a more humanoid depiction of a Dinosauroid, and on the right is a more accurate depiction of what a Dinosauroid might look like.
