The size of the civilian population that remained in what's left of the city of Mariupol is unknown, but we do know there are approximately a hundred female soldiers in Azovstal. One of them was our heroine Elena Kushnir, who lost her life yesterday evening. She had the rank of senior sergeant and served as a medic.

British prime minister Boris Johnson said the United Kingdom will keep supplying Ukraine with all the necessary defensive equipment.
"Defensive" is an important word. To deblock Mariupol, we need offensive weapons, mostly; armored infantry vehicles, tanks, howitzers, helicopters, and jet fighters.
The US delivered the first batch of "heavy" weapons to Ukraine, including 11 helicopters Mi-17, 18 howitzers 155mm, and 300 Switchblade Kamikaze UAVs. They promised to keep supplying us with weapons even though Kremlin stated such actions may lead to unforeseeable consequences.
According to the Pentagon senior officers, the new Russian offensive is about to begin in the coming days. The EU plans the sixth package of sanctions, which may include sanctions against the Sberbank, and oil supplies.
