My heart is filled with heaviness. The Lord has set a new adversary before me. This time, I'm going to graduate, spiritually. My prayer (Oh Lord, renew me) has been transmuted to reality (be careful what you pray for, 'cause you might get it). One of the things I've been taught is the importance of becoming what you desire. The journey of "Spiritual Special Forces" is rough and rigid. Imperfections and failures are not tolerated. If you change your course (direction) only by a degree, in two years, you'll end up in an entirely different place from where you've supposed to be. That's why there are no "chilling" & cheat days. There is no rest. It is a continuous process that only the most determined can accomplish.
The path doesn't offer "good", "bad", or both. What it offers, simply "is". The human mind is a device that determines whether something is good or bad. What I consider good, you might consider bad. That's why "goodness" and "badness" are relative terms. That's why people I've met on the journey, I call "blessings", and angels. Angels are God's thoughts, that change the course of our lives, and can literally pull us up out of hell's pit, 'cause, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7). Indeed, they can be expressed in a physical form, just as every other thought (and belief).
One of the blessings the Lord gifted me with is my mentor, who kept repeating the following affirmations until I finally established them within my heart (deeper mind):
"What we do for others, the Lord does for us."
"What comes through you sticks to you."
"God's supply never runs dry."
(thank you, Matthew!)
Sooner or later, if you're serious about progressing on a spiritual and mental plane of existence, you must abandon (at least temporarily) your beliefs, and say: "Ok, I'll listen to you, I'll do exactly what you say I should. If it doesn't work, at least I'll know, I've tried."
That's what I did. Lo and behold, my entire mind (thus, life) turned upside down. Since I was down, I enjoy the opposite quite a lot, to be honest. Adversaries haven't disappeared. They're still before me, but the greatest of them was conquered. That adversary was me. The human, Earthly me. Now, conquering all other "enemies" is like a walk through the park. The Bible says houses that were built on the rock shall endure. All others will collapse. Who do you think the "rock" is?
"And that rock was Christ." (1 Corinthians 10:4)
"There is no rock like our Lord!" (1 Samuel 2:2)
"He is the rock! His works are perfect!" (Deuteronomy 32:4)
The list of quotes goes on and on, but you get the point. Now, the importance of being the abundance has been emphasized all throughout the Bible. The Lord has given us the Spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. He also gave us his Son. We've been commanded to give, in order to get.
Giving is the only way to receive. Whatever comes through you, sticks to you. Remember that! Now, remember what I'm about to say to you, and take it seriously: start tithing. Give away 10% of your time, your skills, your talents, your money, your love. Help somebody, and watch God do His "thing". I'm not asking you to trust me, just test what I told you. Tithing is a Biblical principle. The only place in the whole Bible where God said "Test me!" is a section where He commands us to give a tenth of our wealth. It works wonders!
When the adversary comes, holy thy peace, and the Lord will fight your battles. It is a test, but you're not in the storm all by yourself. Here is a video I made a week ago, called, "Being Abundance" (I wish you a splendid day! Remain blessed!)
