We live in a subdivision where people buy lots and build their own homes though ours came with the house already standing. Only a few homes have been built so far, so the neighborhood is still soft and calm. At night, the silence wraps around us gently. When the sky is clear, Mount Makiling stands bright and beautiful in full view majestic and peaceful, watching over us. Even in the mornings, it’s never loud or crowded.

Strangest job I’ve done in a day? I became a one person household army! 😅 I was laundry person → floor scrubber → cook → school driver → then right back to cleaning all over again 😂 No uniform, no set hours… and guess what?
