One of the focal influences on culture is religion. a people are still divided by this standard, as Catholics, we are allowed to decide on our food but in other religions like the Muslim and Seventh Day Adventists, they do not eat animals like pigs since they believe that this species is too dirty to be eaten. In a single society, culture is still being diverse due to the differences in beliefs and religion it can also be seen that despite their differences they respect each other. Within the range of interactions, the difference can express directly towards others. Cultural assimilation also appeared in the given example wherein the Muslims are already socializing and drinking in regards to our City tradition where drinking is believed to be a tradition of guest acceptance. In able to avoid possible misunderstandings we should be sensitive to our actions and value each culture. Even religions may occur stereotyping, for instance, we meet a Muslim person specifically men, we usually think that they are the type of people who has various spouse and perhaps we judge them that their culture is a sin against God but in their beliefs and tradition it is fine as long as they can provide support.
Nowadays meetings are easily done virtually unlike before that you need to gather personally this is due to immersion of technologies our cultures changes in every aspect of our lives at some point, we could say that this is beneficial since it makes our living easy yet some of our cultures are gradually fading. In general, cultural diversity may always occur in a small or large society which could emerge misunderstanding that is why it is crucial to have an open mind for acceptance towards cultural differences.
