So you have that audacity to come up to me and asked me if I can go out on a date with you, hehe wonder shall never end. Despite all the warnings I have given you when you send that your foolish friend to talk to me on your behalf. Let me give you the very last warning, never should you stop me again in your life...... Dorcas angrily talked to Paul and left in annoyance.

Paul stood for several minutes with his mouth wide open and couldn't close it because he was surprised to see what happened and couldn't believe his eyes. Not long after that, he started crying and weeping to say all sorts of things to himself like;

" why is it only me? This is the fourth lady that will turn me down and they are all saying the same thing that I am not up to their level, that I can't afford to foot their bills, they don't see me get rich anytime soon " but I am trying my best when it comes to working and I should have started earning too. After all these questions and self answered, he left for his house and continue his normal daily activity.

When Dorcas and her friends got to their apartment, Bunmi started to rebuke Dorcas for what he did to Paul, she said all she did to him was not fair at all and that's wickedness. " Is fine if you don't want to accept his proposal but you shouldn't have gone too far by telling him you didn't see him getting rich in the next 10 years. Haba, that was too much, are you God? You shouldn't look down on him and don't because he doesn't have money to refuse his proposal oooh, because we don't know what tomorrow has in plan for every one of us".... All this was what Bunmi told Dorcas but she refuses to give reply to all what Bunmi said.

After so many years, lines started falling into pleasant places for Paul and now he could afford whatever thing he wants to. He now has a company where he is the Director of the so-called company. He has been blessed with a beautiful wife with just two kids, a male and a female. Dorcas also was doing so well but one thing that remains stagnant in her life is the issue of getting a husband. She is well known for her pride and there is nobody she cannot abuse and look down on. One faithful day, she decides to resign from where she was walking because the salary being paid to her was not enough to cater for expensive life anymore and she decides to go look for a better paying job. She went to Paul company but never knew it was paul who own the company. As the humble guy that Paul was, she couldn't recognise Paul as the Director of the company because Paul was seen amid his staff gisting and playing with them as if they were family members. When she got there and saw Paul, she laughed at paul and said " I knew you would still be looking for a job, very useless man".

All his staff wanted to shun her but Paul asked them to stay calm and attend to her, he still didn't show her his true identity. One of the staff who attended to her asked her to come the next day for an interview with the Director after they have gone through her document. She went home very happy having the mindset that they will surely accept her because her document was complete and was told to come back.

The next day came, Dorcas has been up from bed very early because of the interview so as not to go late. When she got to the company, she was directed to go upstairs where she will meet the director in his office. Paul was in the office with the chair facing the window side and his back facing the door of the entrance of the office. Dorcas knocked and he gave her permission to enter, when she entered she greeted " good morning sir, I am the lady who was asked to come for an interview today and I was told it was the director that I will meet and that's why I am here sir".

Paul rolled his chair to face her and she was shocked to see the Paul that she abused some years back and even yesterday to be the Director she is meeting for an interview. She didn't believe her eyes and immediately she knelt to the ground begging him to please forgive her all that she has done.
