Mental health is very important and it plays a vital role in our lives and influences our notions, thoughts, characters, impression, and emotions. Being healthy mentally can promote productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness in activities that get ourselves involved with. It plays an important part in the health of our relationships, academics as a student, child care as parents and allows us to modify and adjust to changes in our lives and cope with difficulties and challenges we might face as we make progress.

Before we can make improvements concerning our mental health we have to understand the meaning of mental health. So what is mental health?

Mental health includes our emotional ( sympathy, sentimental, passion) psychological, and our social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act concerning how we cope with life. It also helps in determining how we handle stress by relating it to others and making choices and decisions.

mental health decides the extent of mental fitness of an individual in any factor at any point in time. For example, violence and socio-financial pressures are diagnosed as dangers to mental fitness. The clearest proof is related to sexual violence. Poor mental health can also be related related to traumatic paintings conditions, gender discrimination, sometimes social exclusion, bad lifestyle, bodily ill-fitness, and human rights violations.

Ways which our mental health can improve

  • Surround yourself with positive people

  • Limit alcohol and intake of drugs

  • Pay attention to your feelings

  • Remember it's healthy to say “NO" sometimes

  • Try to do things you love to do but not out of obligation

  • Always forgive yourself when you screw up and remember no one is perfect
