Today I bring you details of the interior of that beautiful Capitol that we Habaneros boast so much about. This statue of 17.54 meters high and considered the third tallest located under a roof, made of bronze and recently restored where a gold bath was also applied. It is located in the hall of the lost steps just below the dome of the Capitol and represents the Republic. This was unveiled on May 20, 1929, constituting one of the jewels that this monumental Palace treasures. -------------------------- Hoy les traigo detalles del interior de ese bello Capitolio del que tanto presumimos los Habaneros. Esta estatua de 17.54 metros de altura y considerada la tercera de mayor altura situada bajo techo, hecha de bronce y recién restaurada donde además le fue aplicado un baño de Oro. Esta ubicada en el salón de los pasos perdidos justo debajo de la cúpula del Capitolio y representa la República. Esta fue develada el 20 de mayo de 1929, constituyendo una de las joyas que atesora este monumental Palacio.
