“Wrapped in Rain, I Journeyed Back to Where My Heart Belongs” Today I came home for my summer vacation. After all the busy days at university, I finally got a little break and headed back to the peace of my village. The morning was cloudy, and it had rained the entire night. The leaves still sparkled with raindrops—like tiny pearls gifted by the sky.
*“Raindrops from last night still resting on the leaves,on the flowers as if nature hasn’t wiped her tears yet. A calm, cloudy morning—quiet, gentle, poetic.”* My train was scheduled for 8:23 AM. I stepped out early and waited in front of my house for my friends. We had planned to go to the station together. When we reached the station, it was filled with the familiar hustle and bustle of travelers—some sleepy-eyed, some already energetic. Hawkers moved around, calling out: "Hot samosa!" "Biscuits, tea!" "Cold water, guava!" It felt so alive, so perfectly native. As the train started moving, our journey through the heart of Bengal began. From my window seat, I watched lush green rice fields stretching out like a soft green carpet. Small rivers and boats floated gently by. The beauty of the countryside was simple, yet deeply comforting.
*“Through the train window, the endless green fields stretch like a soft, emerald sea—whispering quiet tales of nature’s love and timeless beauty.”* We bought fresh cucumber, guava, and roasted chickpeas from the hawkers who hopped on the train. There's a special joy in eating these little treats while the train dances on the tracks—it’s a taste of true Bangladeshi travel. I captured a few moments with my camera too. Each photo holds a piece of that morning—the misty skies, the moving landscapes, the quiet smiles of fellow passengers. It wasn’t a grand adventure, but it became a memory I’ll treasure. Some of the simplest days leave the most beautiful impressions on the heart. 🌸🍃“That morning didn’t ask for words—it just wanted me to feel, to breathe, and to remember where I belong.”
